Add context to detail photographs
Follow the overall view with a closer image of the visible issue, such as a dent, an uneven gap, or a display message. Use the phone’s zoom rather than reaching into the mechanism. Include a nearby fixed reference so the recipient can understand where the detail belongs. Photographs cannot establish spring tension, hidden wear, or whether a door is safe to use.
Share a concise, private record
Label each image with its viewpoint and a short observation. Note whether the image shows the door before or after the problem began. Crop out license plates, house keys, entry codes, and unrelated documents. Send the set through the service provider’s agreed channel and keep the originals available in case the technician needs a clearer view.
